I can't seem to delete rectangles that appear when I load a drawing set from .pdf? they clutter my mark-up list.. any idea how to remove them? thanks!

Do a CTRL-A to select them all then DEL to delete them all?

Deleting them would remove the content from the PDF. I'd use "flatten" instead (this makes the content part of the document but removes them from the markups panel.)

This solved my problem! Thank you!

Yes, I've gotten into the habit of flattening any markups that carry over from CAD so the page content doesn't get messed up. It also improves your sanity when you are scrolling through the markups list.
