How to close all windows/tabs quickly

(1/1)

Steve:
Many times we find ourselves with many drawings open at once in multiple tabs.  Many times when I am setting up and assembling drawing sets, I'll have over 40 tabs open at once.  Or when I am extracting many pages from a document I'll miss that I've left the "Open Files After Extraction" box checked and suddenly I have dozens of files popping open that I didn't want to have open.  Rather than clicking on those blue boxes repeatedly to close the tabs, we'll just quit the application entirely to get rid of all those tabs and then relaunch.

But there is another way.  With all those tabs open, select one you want to keep open and right-click on that tab.  You'll see one menu choice that pops up is "Close Other Tabs".  If you select that, all the tabs EXCEPT the one you are right-clicking on will close.  Then you  can close that last tab if you want.

Hope that helps!

BCI Instructor:
Both valid methods - but don't forget there is still yet a 3rd method as well.

Simply choose the WINDOW menu tab, and then select the CLOSE ALL menu icon.
Revu stays running, but all open documents (including the currently selected tab) will get closed.
