PLEASE HELP DEADLINE FOR WORK.
« on: April 18, 2019, 10:18:39 PM »

I have a deadline due by Friday and I was wondering if anyone out in the community could shed some light on how I could complete my task before the deadline.

The Task: Grounding takeoff for underground ground grid.

Current method for completing: (VERY SLOW) STEP by STEP BELOW

1. At the moment I have created tools for each component I'm capturing during my takeoff. Example: Green Highlight in the Legend on the attached drawing.
2. I use the measure tool option to measure every line. Example Line shown in Green.
3. I export markups using the summary (CSV) tab at the bottom of the page.
4. From here i run a pivot table and get my takeoff totals.

THE ISSUE IS I HAVE ABOUT 1900 DRAWINGS TO GO THROUGH IN 3 DAYS.

Does anyone know of a faster way?

If i could somehow unflatten the document and export the markups I would have majority of the info.

I don't see any way to automate this, as it sounds like you need to take a "measurement" of each line.  There is no way for Revu to "auto measure" a line, and even if there were, Revu wouldn't know which line you needed to measure.

You mention unflattening markups.  Are there already markups in existence then that you want to unflatten?  If when flattened they were set to "unrecoverable" there is not much you can do.

I don't see any way to speed this up.  Sorry.
