Yeah it is not something I have often used, I can understand the annoyance!

If you save a screenshot as an image, you can then attach within a comment with the "Attachments and other options" section.

Would be nice to have page labels and bookmarks transfer over to the new sheet when using slip sheet.

That is helpful, but only temporarily when I have a specific thing I'm trying to see.

Pulling it out causes other issues, like not following the window anymore. It also doesn't expand or contract at all, which is basically what I'm asking for. They don't expand, ever, but I wish they would contract when it was just showing massive amounts of blank space, like this:

I would add a screenshot to clarify, tho I think you get it, but I have no idea how you did that. Did you actually upload that image elsewhere and manually link it here?

I would like to know if there is a way to convert a rectangle markup to be used as a measurement tool. I'm trying to get Revu setup for doing takeoffs for cabinetry. I would like to "highlight" the cabinet(s) using the rectangle, so our drafting team knows exactly what we're including/referencing. At the same time, I'd like to use the rectangle as a measurement tool to provide a linear measurement.

Is this possible? If so, how can I achieve this. Thanks in advance.

I understand your frustration with the text mode limitation on the iPad app. While the desktop version of Revu allows for more flexibility with the Ctrl button. The iPad app currently doesn’t have a direct equivalent. However, there are a couple of workarounds you can try:

Freehand Tool: Instead of using the highlighter in text mode. You can switch to the freehand tool. Which allows you to draw freely on the document. This can mimic the free form highlighting you’re looking for.

Adjusting Highlight Color Opacity: Another method is to adjust the opacity of the pen tool to create a highlighter effect. This way you can draw over text without being restricted to text mode.

Request Feature Update: You can also contact the developers through the app’s feedback section to request the addition of a feature similar to the desktop’s Ctrl functionality. The more users request this, the higher the chance it gets prioritized in future updates.

I hope these tips help! If anyone else has found a different solution, please share your experience. :)

Not on my prints, I had " dim page content" turned off. Turning it on made the drawings even worse. I found another thread where someone said they had to have the creator of their PDF change some settings for them to be able to print it properly. That's not always an option, so I had to find a work around. If the page can be dimmed, I wish they would make it as easy to darken it as well.

Been having this problem as well. What I did was print the original as a pdf in order to unlock it, then changed the color processing to black & white. only works for line drawings though.

If you drag the window out so that it is free floating, you can then have multiple tabs within this floating menu. You could then have this menu on the side and adjust the height to suit :)

In BB, you can quite easily customize what things go where on all 4 sides of your window, unfortunately, you can't adjust what those sides actually look like.

Specifically, on my portrait-orientated monitor, whenever I open a properties, or bookmarks, or search, or measure, or anything else, the entire side of the window pops out, even when the side bar content only fills a small fraction of the height. For example, I have just 6 bookmarks in this pdf, the bookmark list itself is only about 2 inches wide and tall, but if I ever open up the bookmark bar to actually use those bookmarks, it opens up the ENTIRE side view, which instead of 2 by 2 is now 2 by19 inches tall (or whatever my screen height is) taking up a huge chunk of screen real estate.

I wish each side bar, and even the bottom bar whenever you crack that open, only opened to as tall or as wide as necessary to view the content in that bar, which is often much smaller than the entire height or width of your window. As you open different commands on each side bar, the bar would expand and contract as necessary to show you the content.
