Erase Content Disabled
« on: August 18, 2020, 08:45:45 PM »

I am using Bluebeam Revu Extreme 2019.

For some reason, the erase content and cut content tools are disabled (grayed out).  Anyone have any idea why this might be? I've been scouring the internet for a couple days and have yet to find the answer.

Thanks in advance!

Try reviewing the PDF's security settings in Document>Document Properties, then click the Security tab. One or many of those may be disabled?

Thanks for the response.  I had already checked the security settings, but went back in to double check.  All permissions are set to allow.

Definitely a head scratcher.

Any resolution on this? Having a similar issue. I'm unable to cut content or erase content from pdfs. I've tried multiple pdfs, including creating a new pdf in Revu 20 Standard and adding a stamp, and then flattening the stamp. The cut and erase content options are both greyed out.

I'm finding that erase content is greyed out even on documents I'm printing myself. Any updates on this? I used the tool all the time in Revu 19, but with the changes to 20, I'm running into all kinds of issues.
