How to "explode" sequences
« on: February 22, 2023, 10:29:58 AM »

When I create a sequence, I would like to be able to right click --> "Select sequence" --> explode

In my case I am numbering walls and/or piles, and I would like to remove the sequence functionality once I've placed them (sometimes)

I found a solution to this!

Flatten the markups then unflatten the markups. The mark-ups will lose the sequence connection and allow you to manipulate them as standard mark-ups.

What is the purpose of removing the sequence function?  Just curious.

We mark-up a load of piles and walls (foundation design) with number references, but then sometimes there are some added or removed later in design process so its useful to be able to just remove the sequence so we know it can't be accidentally changed, as the numbers are referenced by various calculations.

I see, I tested and your method works well.  Sequences have a habit of getting messed up pretty bad in our org.  Thanks for the tip.
