We use Revu primarily for plan review and the process generally works as follows:
1. We receive initial set of drawings from an architect.
2. We review within Revu and add comments and submit back to architect.
3. Architect revises their drawings and send back to us.
4. We review again to confirm if comment was addressed. If not addressed, we leave the original comment on the drawing and resubmit back.
Basic review process common to many industries. Ideally, we get the same drawing package back from the architect and we can export all of our original comments from the previous drawing set and then import into the new set allowing us to then go 1 by 1 and either delete those comments that are addressed or leave the comment if the item is not addressed.
The problem comes when most of the time, the architect adds sheets from one revision to another, so when we import comments, they do not import to the correct pages.
I get why this is a challenge, but is there any way that the comments can be tagged to some type of metadata or keyword on a sheet so that they will import to the same page on the next revision regardless if the architect adds or removes pages?
I know it's a challenge, but this would make the software incredibly valuable beyond having to manually cut/paste comments sheet by sheet between versions.

I have run into this problem as well. It seems the import/export markup function relies on the exact page number to place markups.
One workaround I have used is to insert blank pages in my original marked-up file in order to get the exact page count and locations to match the new file. Once the page count & locations match, export the markups from the original and import them into the new file.

If you export the sheets into individual pdfs you can create a "Set". When you get the drawings back you then Slip Sheet them in and they will match up automatically. The markups will also carry forward to the new document and stamp the old one superseded.
