Editing the fields in your tool box
« on: April 24, 2018, 04:09:26 AM »

Hello everyone,

I´m having trouble setting up some details in my custom toolbox. Specifically I want to be able to edit/add text in the "comment" and/or "label" fields that appear when I set the tool box sections to "detail". The reason for this is that the icons are too small for what i´m doing (stamps) so you can´t see what the stamp actually says. I want to put in some text in the mentioned fields to help the user, but I can´t figure out how to do this. I feel stupid as I´m thinking this should be very simple to accomplish? I´ve attached an image to point out what area I´m talking about.

Regards, and thanks in advance.

I believe you have to add the comment and label to the markup BEFORE you add it to the tool chest.  Once in the chest, the tool can't be edited.  You need to create a new instance of the markup (from your tool chest) and edit THAT, and then replace the markup in the tool chest with the new edited markup.
