(Solved) Revu 2018 CAD - Layers Not working

Quick check Standard/CAD

Doesn't appear to have layers working properly
Old files - open and layers panel works but none of the layers are actually working or displayed.
shows visible turned on yet don't appear...

wonderful.  even demo floorplan doesn't show the layers... Possibly just my system hopefully.

fixed by closing and re-opening

also saw it was making changes on open without doing anything - putting the star next to each file opened - even though no changes were made.

close and re-open all working normally again.
Guess i should have done that first!
