Converting a .xfa file from Adobe to Bluebeam
« on: August 20, 2019, 03:26:09 PM »

Hey there fellow Revu'ers
I am new around these parts.

I have recently run into a bit of a snag.

I have a form that is in .xfa   format - Bluebeam warns that it is not a supported file type.
It opens as a PDF and is saved as a PDF but none of the form fields are selectable to be edited or added to.

The text is not selectable and OCR is greyed out.
Snapshot does not capture any information.
It does not export as a word doc either.

I saved it as a template and it opens up with the form fields but without the text.

I would like to edit it in Bluebeam and add some features to it so that I can use it in Bluebeam.

Has anyone come across this type of issue and come up with a work around?

Thank you
