draw an Angle to scale
« on: September 19, 2017, 05:08:39 PM »

Does anyone know how to precisely draw an angle where I could type in the actual angle rather than dragging and dropping a line?

The closest way I know is to draw a line using the open polyline tool and then in the properties panel in the Rotation field enter the exact angle you want to rotate the line to.

This was actually kind of easy. Simply draw the line and group it with something. In my case I wanted to show the bearing of a north arrow at 230.74 degrees so I drew the line, added an "N", grouped it with the line, then went to properties and set the angle.

Drawing a corner is a very good idea.
